NetSuite highly privileged usernames are not supported. Token Based Authentication (TBA) is now supported. Call activity logging requires the permission 'lists -> Phone Calls' and the contact must be allocated to a company.
Call Logging:
You are not able to create an Automatic Call Activity if you have chosen to created a Manual Call Activity
